Product Name 'Brick'

You people are thinking o not another Apple post on some touch product, the last one suced I know
it had to many unproven theories
but this one could be really good

I was inspired by macenstein to hope that what I had been dreaming might come true

In this artical he states that the code name 'brick' for apples new product will be the brick that destroys windowsrather than being a actual brick computer
How could Apple do it how could they make a product that apple could even compete against
I hinted about it before, yes touch technology. Microsoft doesn't make touch products
they make software
so apple can make a piece of hardware that they have already spent the money researching for with the iPhone. All they have to do is take the touch screen and put it on all macs
Microsoft can make the software for it but Dell, HP, exc don't have to funds to research and build touch screens for their products.
if they do make them the price will be so high to pa for the research that apple will be cheaper

iTablet
They could if they are ready add the iTablet at the same time, but I know that they will wait until everything is perfect and the public are ready for it.
Google will not be in the picture at all. they crossed the line with the Android. Bad move
using the same technology as the iPhone Apple could make a touchable version of OS X 10.5
It's major attraction will be computing on the go.
And the interface will make the user feel like they are playing the soccer game rather than watching it from the sidelines with the standard mouse
People will love the new interface of iTablet

Mac Book Touch(MBT)
I designed one of these with the help of Kathy

it is basically a Mac book with a secondary touch screen in place of the keyboard and mouse pad
it will be the size of the keyboard is now and when typing will show the keys and give responsive clicks.
it will allow you to be apart of the OS but just from a smaller screen. the larger screen will still be nice for movies, photos, browsing, and other screen filling functions of a computer

Mac Book(MB)
You might be asking why will they keep the Mac Book when they have such amazing MBTs
simple price. If I know apple, which I do they will try to make a lot of extra money on this new interface. so they could easily charge 600$ more for a MBT than a MB, when it only coast 1500$ to make the screen.
Apple will want to keep their low end products for the general public and could take the macbook put it in a new aluminum case and sell it for 800$
tis will drop it down to where it is significantly more competitive.

You might be wondering what about the Mac Book Pro Touch
Apple can solve that problem simply by increasing the range of specs for it, to ingulf both the Macbook range and the MBP
The MBP standard will also see a significant price drop

I know what you are thinking, WHat about Battery life?
I have addressed this to
Silver ion batteries, they contain more power. at what stage of research they are at I know not but it is the only thing that can save macs and their power consuming secondary screens.

I think that covers the portable line fairly well
but what about the desktops lines
don't worry I have them covered

Both the iMac and the Mac Pro could share the same product
You are probably catching on by now, yep the touch Keyboard
It will be USB powered and take the place of the mouse and keyboard, a regular mouse maybe bought separately for gammers, until they adapt to the interface

I designed this with Katy as well but I have no digital for of the drawings I will make them as soon as I find the time. To help you visulize what I have described with words.
