Firmware 2.2.1

Yes I know iPhone Firmware 2.2.1
hasn't been released yet
and that is my problem
I need it
there is a very common bug in the current firmware that many 2g iPod Touch users are experiencing.
I am one of them
even though I can connect to my wireless network, I cannot get online.
My internet is working perfectly but I just can't get online from my iPod
Yes I did reset my network settings twice
I did restore my iPod which included downloading a 269.4mb file on my already slow internet

The good news is that I am not the only one experiencing the problem
It is the only thing that gives me comfort
There must be 500 posts on apple discussion describing the same problem and none of them have been answered
All of them I know tell Apple at the end to fix it already
If you are reading this Apple, stop joking around and fix the bug already
give the people what they want give them 2.2.1
And do it fast before you start loosing customers
Please hurry
